  • Important notice for guests staying at the hotel

    Thank you for booking and using Hotel Takachiho.
    On August 14th, Legionella bacteria was detected in the men's bath, so for the time being, the large public bath will only be available to women.We have separate time slots for men and women, and we operate on a rotation system.I am sorry.(*The bathroom in the guest room is available for use.)
    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and appreciate your understanding.

    Thank you for your continued patronage of Hotel Takachiho.
    Due to the detection of Legionella bacteria in the men's bath, the large public bath will be temporarily closed for the time being.
    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

    Symptoms are similar to those of pneumonia (cough, high fever, chills, chest pain, shortness of breath).If you experience any of these symptoms, please seek medical attention as this is an emergency.Please also inform the hotel.

    Going forward, in accordance with the instructions of the public health center, we will close the large public bath for the time being, disinfect and clean the water supply and drainage pipes, bathtubs, hot water tanks, etc., and will resume operations after analyzing the cause and taking measures.

    Reservations are required for renting a boat Takachiho Gorge and viewing Takachiho Shrine Yokagura (ancient dance rituals at night).
